The week in advance and ahead

This is the 'Nursery' area before set up with pots
Man ~ big week and bigger to come.

Wishes of love and cuddles to my dear darling Husband on Fathers' Day.  While we don't have the cash to splash at the shops this year, a scrummy dinner and dessert is coming, shared with the ones who love you heaps! With your birthday just days away, we hope to make it up to you then. xx

I thought we were supposed to be slowing down *gasps* when will it end!!  Things are going well in some areas, total balls-up in others ~ so I guess it balances out. *grins*  Ever the possimistic hey!  Better to have fluctuations than remain stagnant?  Actually next week with Husband away could have advantages.

I'll be honest ~ it's not the ideal plan to have him scooting off, however the forecast is rain and more winds so I doubt a lot will happen outside before Friday.  Plus this gives his mum a huge hand getting the house ready and in better order for her.  Using the car on the weekend when having birthday brunches and big bonza night time bashes for 40ths means all the boxes can come back on the trailer if ready and able.  Hangovers will not cut the mustard ~ although I can guarantee Husband's burps and farts next Sunday most certainly will.  No kids with us, so probably won't drop in on anyone unless in desperate need of porcelain relief *grins*

BIG SELF REMINDER

Do not grumble about being nagged ~ because you NEED it

Here's how I hope the week will go.  My days will start at 730am and end at 1100pm each evening.  I must be in bed at 1100pm, so all things off at about 1030pm.  Mornings will have little variation between 730 and 840 when SmallBoy and I head off to school.  The school really does not like kids on the grounds without formal supervision and all schools ask for an 845 arrival.  Unless you advise the school, I don't think it appropriate kids be at school before 830 as an earliest here in cold wintery Vic (especially) and parents who 'drop and run' to make it to work at 830am or get to their stash or rush to their daily morning socialising every day do their children any favours.

While I head off on this tangent, when we were both working full time, for the most part I did have 830-530 hours however either arranged for SmallBoy to be at a school mates house in the morning, fed, dressed and ready for the day but rarely before 800am, more like with 15mins to get to work and sort the mail on the way to my desk.  Just my waffly thought on that.

So Monday I plan to clean up in the lounge and kitchen, set the table for the week perhaps with some of the daffodils that are out in the garden. Might do something with the plastics awaiting a proper home in the pantry. Might not too. Catch up in the afternoon with Mrs Jonah and give her two dozen eggs.  This must be done!! After school is afternoon tea and then more project work for SmallBoy and I might write a chapter or two of trashie.

Tuesday means exercise therapy in the afternoon before school pick up. Sounds a bit sad, but I need to pop to the Salvos to get some bread, just a little skint at the moment and the loan will go out tomorrow leaving us will zip.  Only for a few days.  After the morning stuff, might make it sweep, dust, vac and mop day.  Or just the dust and sweep, saving the vac and mop for Wednesday  *grins*

Let's leave the housework there.  It's highly likely things planned any further in advance will change.

Getting late and I am going to break my own self-imposed time management rulings if I don't get a wiggle on.  I shall talk about budgeting tomorrow, especially once you know we've been really living on $512 a week for the last little while, and only $212 is from MrCentrelink.  Beauty of having a little on the side and four weeks warning of no more job!!  Do hope some decision is made about my online gig because it would help planning!

I fell asleep this afternoon while meditating - dreamt I made a cake, or pudding and my arm hurts from creaming the sugar and butter!  Not sure what happened there.  Had the rare privilege of a delightful conversation with my Dad and also my mother!  Wonders!!  Checking up to see how we survived this rain.  Creswick (about 30mins away, less even) has flooding leaving boats as the only transport but we are just wet, soaked and muddy.  The winds cause us more problems.  But the water has been unbelievably constant and heavy - again, if only for a second water tank...

Time to fly - dishwasher to pack, fire to chock up for the night.  Sleep well everyone ~ kiss your baby and tell 'em how much you love 'em. *grins*

If you could see the mark you've made
Wishing dreams of troubled trade
Taking joy from all the tragedy that falls
Pick it up like bricks and dirt
Wipe the muck off from your shirt
Could she join us if the Angels came to call
Tomorrow
The days that follow
Robbing light from those who turn away the sun
No Sorrow
Sounds Hollow
Hark the music of the lovers has begun

I'm pooped ~ there's more for this piece I feel.  I hear the song, so I'll pick it up and keep going.
